The On-Boarding Process
Our on-boarding is a five step process that can take anywhere from 1-6 weeks depending on the size of your company. Here’s a look at what you can expect:
Step 1: Information Collection
The on-boarding process begins with collecting information about your invoice system and how you currently prepare and file your tobacco taxes. Part of this step includes identifying tax and IT contacts in order to make transitioning to an automated tax platform as seamless as possible for you.
Step 2: Integration
Once all information is collected, a data sample of your invoice system will be sent for analysis. Part of the system integration process is to figure out the best way to get the data from your system to the TobTax Compliance platform.
Step 3: Data Analysis
During the data analysis step, our goal is to flush out any missing tobacco tax mandatory data pieces that are needed for your tax calendar requirements.
Step 4: Testing
The objective of testing is to reproduce already filed tax returns using TobTax Compliance’s automated process.
Step 5: Training
We will train you to ensure that you know how the software works, and meet with you through zoom during the on-boarding process. This training will teach you the process of transferring the data from your invoice system to the TobTax platform and how to review the output files and approve those numbers for filing.
