TN Licensed Distributor Report is Required Starting Jan 1 2016
Starting January 1, 2016, licensed tobacco distributors must report additional information on the Licensed Distributor Report (LDR), including stamping activity, inventory, purchases and sales. Inventory will include beginning inventory, ending inventory and inventory adjustments. The January 2016 report, due on February 15, 2016, will be the first report to include this additional information.
Filers of LDR report are required to file electronically by using the department portal data entry or uploading a CSV (comma delimited) file every month. The report must be filed even if no activity occurs during the month. Penalties may be assessed for failure to file accurately and on time.
