New York State to Switch to Electronic Filing Starting Jan 2017

The NY Tax Department currently mails tax forms to all cigarette agents and distributors. Beginning January 1, 2017, they will no longer mail paper notifications and forms.  Instead, they will send you email alerts through Online Services with instructions to obtain the following forms on their website.

In addition to receiving cigarette tax notices, the new Online Services account allows you to file certain returns and forms electronically,  respond online to certain Tax Department notices, and receive electronic versions of certain Tax Department notices
